Rules
Breaches and inactivity
What ends an account, what happens next, and how to start again.
What breaches an account
- Equity touching the max drawdown floor.
- Equity touching the daily drawdown limit.
- A third Backed Protector strike on a funded account.
- Any prohibited strategy.
What happens
Positions close
Every open position is closed at market immediately.
The account stops trading
The account is marked breached. You can still view it, its history and its certificates.
You are notified
We email you (unless you turned breach emails off in Settings) and show the reason on the account.
Inactivity
An account with no trades for 30 days is closed. Any trade on any market resets the clock.
Launchpad unlock window
After passing Launchpad you have 14 days to pay the unlock fee. If you do not, the account closes.
Payout on a breached account
A funded account that breaches is no longer eligible for payouts. Payouts already paid are yours to keep.
