Settings and security

Update your details, change your password, choose your emails and switch themes.

Open Settings at the bottom of the left menu. There are four tabs.

Account detailsName, country, address and phone number. Your email is shown for reference.
SecurityChange your password (at least 10 characters).
NotificationsEmail and in-app alerts: payouts, breaches and resets, product news, order fills and drawdown warnings.
AppearanceDark or light theme.

Notifications worth keeping on

  • Payouts: requested, approved and paid.
  • Breaches and resets: when an account breaches a limit or is reset.
  • Drawdown warnings: when daily or total drawdown use passes 75%.

Keep your account safe

  • Use a unique password you do not use anywhere else.
  • Never share your login. Account sharing breaches the rules.
  • Backed will never ask for your password, seed phrase or private keys. See Support.

Backed

Backed accounts are simulated. Trades are placed against live market prices, but no orders reach a real market and account balances are not deposits. Payouts are paid in real funds, in crypto or through Rise, under the rules in these docs.
